Terms and Definitions 

AirSoft:
AirSoft is a sport or recreational pastime in which players participate in the simulation of military combat also called MilSim (Military Simulation) or law enforcement style combat using designed as replicas of real firearms.

UNREAL:
Unreal is a first person shooter computer game developed by Epic Games.

Unreal Literal Definition: "lacking in reality or substance or genuineness; not corresponding to acknowledged facts or criteria"

MilSim:
MilSim generally combines AirSoft play with some military live action role-playing elements. Several goals or missions are assigned to each team as a foundation for confrontation in firefights and other quarters, maintaining perimeter security and the like are added to the experience. Another aspect of MilSim style AirSoft gaming that ties into the live action element is the global desire for players to look and feel the part they are playing. Hence, MilSim style games may have uniform or clothing requirements specific to the scenario. Following orders, earning rank and drills are all common in this style of game play.

Reenactment:
AirSoft games played with the structure and/or conditions designed to emulate a specific real world battle as a form of historical or modern reenactment. This type of play can vary from a simple skirmish emulating a small-scale battle to a full reenactment of the a large campaign. For earlier historical eras such as that of World War II, equipment restrictions may be imposed on players for some historical accuracy. This may include restricting players to the use of replica firearms that were available during the historical battle. To include players without the correct AirSoft guns, organizers may set up rules restricting them to semi-automatic fire or restricting the amount of ammunition they may carry.
