The Original Sculpt

The original sculpt was done entirely by hand. Each piece was made individually and then combined during molding and casting. The pictures seen here represent the first and only fully hand sculpted CyberFembot A.R.C. She was sculpted for casting and as can be seen she only had one original arm, which we mirrored for production.

Finished Hand Sculpt

These pictures show the end result of the initial hand sculpt. It was not the last version of this piece but it was the very first completed, transforming CyberFembot A.R.C.

Work in process papers

These pictures show some of the modifications that we went through for this piece. They're all grouped together here but they were spread out over the whole design and development process. Some things we were able to implement. Others we weren't.

Two distinct hood styles

These pictures show one of the major modifications we made between the original sculpt and the final production piece. The hood was grooved much deeper and matched to the chest much closer. Headlights were also added. An additional face and hands were sculpted based on feedback from the initial face.

The transforming head

This was something we did to add that "something extra" to this piece. It took almost as much time to make the head as it did the whole rest of the piece.
